Sea Moss

Sea moss, also known as Irish moss or red seaweed, is a type of seaweed that grows year-round in tidepools and inlets. 
Sea moss is commonly harvested in North America and Europe, discovered around 1847. 

There are 2 different colored sea moss gold and purple. We currently create our life jars with gold moss. Gold moss is high in phytonutrients which play a role in cellular communication. Two well-known examples of this would be regulating your heart beat or signaling muscle growth following exercise. 

There are 13 sea moss vitamins in total: vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and the B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, folate). Sea moss contains small amounts of many of these important vitamins.
